BIOL 3060U – Fundamentals of Neuroscience Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system and how it operates at the organism level with respect to behaviour, learning and memory. This course provides a broad introduction to neuroscience. The topics covered range from the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neural function to an introduction to complex behaviours such as thought and language. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 3 Laboratory hours: 3 (biweekly) Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2030U and BIOL 2050U Experiential learning: Yes
